Like her mother, Spice didn't cooperate very well with our breeding plans. At the 2004 National Specialty we made plans to breed her to CH Demavand's Cassio's Secondwind. We sent Spice home with Johanna, but never got a breeding. We had trouble knowing when she was in season, until we kept her in the kennel with Vallie for a while. She started cycling with Vallie and we were able to send her to Johanna in the fall of 2007 to be bred to Cassio's son Ch Zvezda's Rastaban of Liyaza. She had a lovely litter of 2 males and 2 females.
We called the puppies Basil, Sage, Ginger and Nutmeg. Ginger now lives in Mobile AL and is called Aspen. Meg is now called Shimmer and lives with Catherine Kyle at Kadea and Sage lives with Johanna Coutu at Liyaza in Rhode Island. Basil lives with us at Doxhobbi.
