Spice was one of a 2 puppy repeat breeding of Roberta and Sunny. She came along at a time when Jim and I were very busy and not able to go to many shows. After showing her some as a puppy, we sent her to Johanna and she finished her championship a few weeks before the 2004 SHCA National Specialty. She won an Award of Merit at that specialty handled by Jessica Plourde. She came home and had a litter of 4 puppies - Basil, Sage, Ginger and Nutmeg. Ginger went to live with Jim's niece as a pet and the other 3 finished their championships.She was bred a second time but had no live puppies.
She enjoyed dry - land mushing - running lead with her brothers Dom and Lightning and later with her kids Basil and Meg.

In her first (and only ) outing as a special, Spice won an Award of Merit at the SHCA 2004 specialty handled by Jessica Plourde.
